McCain Foods donates $200,000 to India COVID-19 relief efforts

McCain has been working closely on the ground with our team in India as the devastating COVID-19 crisis continues to unfold. To help battle this heartbreaking second wave, McCain has donated $200,000 to the Canadian Red Cross India COVID-19 Response Appeal that will enable support for COVID-19 preparedness, response and recovery activities.

“We wish to express our gratitude to McCain Foods for their generous donation that will help the Red Cross provide much needed support in India,” said Jean-Philippe Tizi, Chief Emergency Officer, Canadian Red Cross. “These funds will help provide essential care and supplies to people in India who are in desperate need due to COVID-19.”

McCain Foods has proudly operated in India for more than 20 years. Our thoughts and heartfelt support remain with our team, our farming partners, and the people of India as they continue to face this incredible challenge.
