Nampa, Idaho – Great American Snacks, Inc., a new subsidiary of McCain Foods USA, Inc., announced today the successful completion of its acquisition of the operating business of Great American Appetizers, headquartered in Nampa, Idaho. The company operates a second facility in Monroe, North Carolina.
The company will operate under the new name, Great American Snacks, and will retain the majority of the former staff of Great American Appetizers under the leadership of General Manager, Dan Horan.

The company specializes in frozen food product development and manufacturing through its foodservice, retail and club channel branded business. Product capabilities include snacks and appetizers, such as breaded and battered vegetable, cheese and specialty appetizers.
